Beautiful Disaster -Kelly Clarkson

Beautiful song I love it for the lyrics and the music. On her Breakaway album it is played live whicxh is also very good. I love singing to this song :) I'll spare you guys the torture though :P
He drowns in his dreams
An exquisite extreme I know
He's a damned as he seems
More Heaven than a heart could hold
-And if I tried to save him
My whole world could cave in
Just ain't right
Just ain't right
-Oh and I don't know
I don't know what he's after
But he's so beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
If I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful
Or just a beautiful disaster
-He's magic and myth
As strong as what I believe
A tragedy with
More damage than a soul should see
And do I try to change him
So hard not to blame him
Hold on tight
Hold on tight
-Oh and I don't know
I don't know what he's after
But he's so beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
If I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful
Or just a beautiful disaster
-I'm longing for love and the logical
But he's only happy hysterical
I'm waiting for some kind of miracle
Waiting so long
-He's soft to the touch
But frayed at the ends he breaks
He's never enough
And still he's more than I can take
-Oh and I don't know
I don't know what he's after
But he's so beautiful
Such a beautiful disaster
If I could hold on
Through the tears and the laughter
Would it be beautiful
Or just a beautiful disaster

China Town?

Coincidentally as I was eating my Chinese pudding (to any one who has never had it it is NOT pudding. Its more like Jello. Better even vegetarian wise because it uses seaweed extract instead of gelatin) Cupcake Wars came on. Oddly enough it was a Chinese New Year episode. I feel like I'm back in China Town!

Finishing Jane Eyre

I'm getting closer and closer to finishing Jane Eyre, my latest book of choice. So far I'm liking how it's turned out: Boy meets girl, boy intends to marry her, then (twist!) he decides he would rather marry the girl that better suits him that's been there all along. What I like the most though is Jane's attitude to him before their wedding. She just plays it off nicely and tells him that in six months time he very well may not even love her anymore. She is someone worth listening to for sure. She has such a power, and occasionally a venom, in her words it's beautiful :) Only 200 more pages left for me :P Not sure what's going to happen in them though. My next post on this subject will probably be me frantically typing because I'm astounded with what I read

Long Time No See

I am so grateful to have this as a way to communicate. After some recent computer issues, coming back to find 22 (!) views in the past week (!) amazed me. I almost cried. I am so happy that I have people who give some of their time to listen to me. For so long I felt like I didnt matter, now I know even if I don't I atleast had people who I may have affected some how! So THANK YOU sooo much. I can't explain to you how much this means to me. For people to actually hear my voice means so much to me.
Speaking of voices :) I am watching The Voice and I am so proud of these people for letting their voice be heard. They are such amazing people with such amazing dreams. I can't even imagine that I could have dreams that big someday, but I hope every one of you reading this has your dreams come true. You know what it means to listen, and with that you can do anything :) Even steal my heart <3 Thanks again guys
Also, on the fourth I had 13 views. Within an HOUR. If you want to tell me about your favorite post that you read recently or why you came back to this blog to JUST LISTEN. Talk to me! Post a comment! I want to listen to you in return for all the happiness you guys just provided me. Im still smiling :)

Should've said No -Taylor Swift

J, this should have been sung about me. This is as close to an apology as you have let me give. But I am sorry. I just hope you listen.

It's strange to think the songs we used to sing
The smiles, the flowers, everything: is gone
Yesterday I found out about you
Even now just looking at you: feels wrong
You say that you'd take it all back, given one chance
It was a moment of weakness and you said yes...
-You should've said no, you should've gone home
You should've thought twice before you let it all go
You should've know that word, bout what you did with her
Would get back to me...
And I should've been there, in the back of your mind
I shouldn't be asking myself why
You shouldn't be begging for forgiveness at my feet...
You should've said no, baby and you might still have me
-You can see that I've been crying
And baby you know all the right things: to say
But do you honestly expect me to believe
We could ever be the same...
You say that the past is the past, you need one chance
It was a moment of weakness and you said yes...

-You should've said no, you should've gone home
You should've thought twice before you let it all go
You should've know that word, bout what you did with her
Would get back to me...
And I should've been there, in the back of your mind
I shouldn't be asking myself why
You shouldn't be begging for forgiveness at my feet...
You should've said no, baby and you might still have me
-I can't resist... before you go, tell me this
Was it worth it...
Was she worth this...
No... no no no...

Breaking the Habit -Linkin Park

Memories consume
Like opening the wound
I'm picking me apart again
-You all assume I'm safe here in my room
Unless I try to start again
-I don't want to be the one
The battles always choose
'Cause inside I realize That I'm the one confused
-I don't know what's worth fighting for Or why I have to scream
I don't know why I instigate And say what I don't mean
-I don't know how I got this way
I know it's not alright
So I'm breaking the habit
I'm breaking the habit tonight
-Clutching my cure I tightly lock the door
I try to catch my breath again
-I hurt much more Than anytime before
I had no options left again
-I don't want to be the one
The battles always choose
'Cause inside I realize That I'm the one confused
-I don't know what's worth fighting for Or why I have to scream
I don't know why I instigate And say what I don't mean
-I don't know how I got this way
I'll never be alright
So I'm breaking the habit
I'm breaking the habit tonight
-I'll paint it on the walls
'Cause I'm the one at fault
I'll never fight again And this is how it ends
-I don't know what's worth fighting for Or why I have to scream
But now I have some clarity To show you what I mean
-I don't know how I got this way
I'll never be alright
So I'm breaking the habit
I'm breaking the habit
I'm breaking the habit tonight

Slice Of Love

Set to ponder what’s important,
What’s an essential part of life
After a day like today the answer is clear.
Sitting with you, your face sincere.
Only one slice could ever surpass it.
That slice being the one that holds firm through the tests.
The slice that shows we’re past all the rest.
The slice that shows after the best day,
When the storm clouds come rolling in,
It can hold up our heads, our hands clenched tight.
The storm cannot hurt us with love protecting.
Our hands held high above our heads
we walk away victorious.
The slice I cherish pulled us through.
The slice I have because of you.
One that sustains us and keeps us whole.
The slice that can save us from the deepest cold.
The slice that exists only when the love between us persists.
